SHIPSCO Fightwear began unintentionally in 2018 when I started Muay Thai, a martial art originating in Thailand that utilizes kicks, punches, elbows, knees and standup grappling. The shorts worn during these fights are meant to be flashy, to gain attention from the gamblers and be a part of the showmanship. The designs pulled me in, but the options available in the US were poorly designed.

I started this business with one mission: elevate the creativity within the sport and explore my own commitment to the craft of illustration. My creative journey and Muay Thai journey were bound together forever.

What started as a hobby took the form of a fully fledged e-commerce business. It forced me to create a brand, show up online and learn the ins and outs of retail. It is my favorite creative outlet, one I am indebted to.
